High prices led us to expect certain standards that were not always met.

From the absence of safes to store our passports, extra cash and valuables, to adequate towels to the presence of (very) old mattresses, these details significantly affected our comfort.

Encountering issues like non-functional locks or hazardous electrical setups, such as "suicide showers" with exposed wiring, was concerning.
